Sync on New Moon

New Moon is a wonderful time to meditate. In the moonless night, the stars guide us to sense the presence of the moon. The serene smile within us is sensed deeply. All children of Mother Earth can unite in gratitude for  her nurturing presence in our lives.

This moonless night is the last night of Ramadan or Ramzan, the holy month of fasting for Muslims. The next day, the first sighting of the new crescent moon, is Eid Al Fitr. This festival does not always coincide with the dates of the astronomical moon, as it depends on the sighting of the moon. Astronomically, the exact time of new moon is July 26 22:42 UTC.
